What a reviewer does
- Pick a guide in your area of practice from the guide library.
- Read it against the current law in your province, and send us any corrections or missing points.
- We fix the guide, send you the final text and publish it once you confirm.
What the guide shows
A Lawyer reviewed mark, then: “Reviewed by your name, family lawyer, your firm (your law society), on the date,” with a link to your firm’s website. Search engines also see the review in the page’s structured data.
The rules
- You must be a lawyer (or a Quebec notary or avocat) in good standing with a Canadian law society.
- Reviews are free both ways: we do not pay reviewers and reviewers do not pay us. Reviewing is separate from advertising and never affects ad placement.
- The review covers the guide as it stood on the review date. When the law changes we update the guide and ask you to look again. If you cannot, the credit is removed.
- You can ask us to remove your name at any time.
