- Income is rounded to the nearest $100, as in the simplified tables. Results may differ by a few dollars from the official legal tables.
- For incomes over $150,000 we apply the published base amount plus percentage for each province.
- Below about $16,000 a year, the table amount is $0.
- Families with 5 or more children use separate tables. Our calculator shows the 4-child amount as a minimum.
- Quebec: when both parents live in Quebec, the Quebec model applies instead of the federal table.
